April 28, 2018 - Roth Motorsports Attends Co-Sanctioned Event at Legit Speedway Park
On Friday evening the Roth Motorsports team headed to Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) for the Lucas Oil MLRA Series sanctioned opener. In a field of 21 cars, Joe Godsey and Jeff Roth both locked their spot into the opening night feature with a 6th place finish in their heat. With $3,000 on the line, Godsey fell one position to place 17th while Roth posted a 20th place outing in the 30-lap affair.

The following night the Lucas Oil MLRA Series headed to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri) for the co-sanctioned event with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). With a stout field of 40 cars on hand, Godsey followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with the 5th and final transfer spot in his B-Main. After placing 8th in his heat, Roth logged an 8th place outing in his B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the $3,000-to-win A-Main. April 21, 2018 - Roth Motorsports Follows MLRA Series to the Hawkeye State
Returning with the Lucas Oil MLRA Series, the Roth Motorsports team traveled to Davenport Raceway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday evening for the $5,000 top prize. With 35 Super Late Models registered in for action, Jeff Roth locked his spot into the opening night feature with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat. Joe Godsey came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Godsey logged a 14th place outing forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. Roth improved two spots in the 30-lapper to place 14th while Joe was an early retiree from the feature after suffering issues with his front-end. He was credited with a 23rd place outing.

Saturday night brought 37 MLRA followers to 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) for the 10th annual Slocum 50. Following a 5th place finish in his heat, Godsey landed a 2nd place finish behind Brian Shirley in his B-Main locking his spot into the finale. Roth had to rely on a provisional into the show after placing 7th in his heat and 9th in his B-Main. With $10,555 on the line, Jeff and Joe finished 23rd and 24th on a track that saw very limited passing.
