August 22, 2020 - Jeff Roth injures back in wreck at Batesville Motor Speedway
On Thursday afternoon Jeff Roth and Joe Godsey invaded Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) to take part in the Comp Cams Topless 100 weekend. Drawing 48 cars for the event co-sanctioned by Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Joe recorded a seventh place finish in his heat while Jeff came in eighth. Needing a third place finish or better in their B-Main to make the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Roth was involved in a wreck that severely damaged his No. 14R entry. Joe dropped one spot in the 10-lap consolation event to finish 12th.

On Friday night with Jeff sitting out the remainder of the weekend due to a back injury he suffered in his wreck on Thursday, Joe passed three cars in his heat race to place fourth. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the preliminary feature, Godsey was an early retiree on the eighth lap.

Slated to start near the tail of his B-Main on Saturday for one last shot at the $40,000-to-win Comp Cams Topless 100, Joe elected to save equipment and scratch from the 15-lapper.

August 1, 2020 - Roth, Godsey, and Driskill all compete in Comp Cams doubleheader
Friday night featured all three Roth Motorsports pilots: Jeff Roth, Joe Godsey, and Jon Driskill in action at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned program. Taking the Top 5 from the heats, Joe locked his spot into the show with a fourth place finish while Jeff and Jon would need a B-Main appearance for another shot at the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Sending the Top 3, Roth came in seventh while Driskill finished one spot behind him in eighth. Slated to roll off 11th, persistent rain rolled in and postponed the 40-lap feature to September 3rd. The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) for the Larry Phillips Memorial, Roth came in fifth in his heat, with Godsey in sixth and Driskill in seventh. Locking the Top 4 into the $5,075-to-win finale, Jon came one spot shy with a fifth place outing while Jeff placed eighth. Godsey earned a provisional into the show after finishing sixth in his B-Main but retired early from the 40-lapper on lap 19.
