June 27, 2020 - Godsey visits Salina Highbanks Speedway for Lucas Oil MLRA doubleheader
Making a last-minute decision, Roth Motorsports pilot Joe Godsey headed to Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Okla.) on Friday evening for the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) doubleheader. With 36 cars on hand for the ARMI Freedom Classic, Godsey followed up the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group with a third place finish in his heat. On Saturday evening for the $5,000-to-win finale, Joe posted a sixth place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Grabbing the third and final transfer position, Godsey locked into the 23rd-starting spot for the main event. Running into trouble early, Joe Godsey withdrew from the 40-lap affair on the sixth lap.

June 20, 2020 - Joe Godsey attends Clash at the Mag at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Thursday night found Roth Motorsports pilot Joe Godsey in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the three-day General Tire Clash at the Mag. Drawing 55 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries for the event co-sanctioned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Joe posted an eighth place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a second place finish or better to make the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Godsey fell short with a ninth place outing.

On Friday evening, Godsey fell short of a transfer position in his heat with an eighth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 2 into the final preliminary feature, Joe logged a seventh place finish.

With preliminary results on Thursday and Friday night setting the grid for the $15,000-to-win Clash at the Mag on Saturday evening, Godsey needed a second place finish or better in his B-Main to make the finale. Rolling off 11th, Joe held his spot for all 12-laps to place 11th.

June 13, 2020 - Godsey logs DNF at Legit Speedway Park
Joe Godsey invaded Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) on Saturday night piloting the Waco Title No. 14G Late Model. After coming in fifth in his heat, Godsey was an early retiree from the 20-lap feature.

June 6, 2020 - Joe Godsey Lands Sixth Place Finish in Rockabilly 45 at I-30 Speedway
Friday night found Roth Motorsports drivers Joe Godsey and Jon Driskill in action at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Ark.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned contest. Drawing 28 cars, Joe came in sixth in his heat while Jon posted a seventh place outing. Transferring the Top 2 from the B-Main into the opening night feature, Driskill came one spot shy with a third place finish while Godsey was an early exit from the 10-lapper. Receiving a provisional into the show, Joe withdrew on the sixth lap while being credited with a 19th place outing.

The following night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) for the 10th annual Rockabilly 45, Godsey secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a second place finish in his heat behind Logan Martin. Driskill came in eighth in his heat before placing seventh in his consolation event. Starting the main event in seventh, Joe jumped up one spot in the 45-lap affair to register a sixth place finish.
