Roth Motorsports follows Hell Tour to La Salle Speedway
To begin the second with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, Roth Motorsports visited La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Ill.) on Wednesday afternoon for the sixth round of the Hell Tour. With 35 cars entered, both drivers came in sixth in their heat, sending them into the B-Main. Joe scratched to use his provisional while Jeff finished 11th, ending his night. Persistent rain postponed Thursday night's event at Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) to July 7th.
On Friday afternoon at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Ill.), Joe posted a seventh-place finish in his heat while Jeff followed him across the line to finish eighth. Godsey locked his spot into the show with a runner-up finish in his B-Main while Roth was granted a provisional. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 17th, Joe passed three cars to finish 14th while Jeff gained four spots to place 17th.
Mother Nature axed Saturday and Sunday's scheduled dates at Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) and Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Ill.).
Joe remains in ninth in the DIRTcar Summer Nationals point standings.
